Hunnebo is a small fishing village and summer destination on the Swedish West Coast. It's a charming, quaint destination right on the North Sea with a rocky granite coastline. The village is easily walkable within 10 minutes and includes all basic facilities. Smogen and Kungshamn are slightly larger towns within 15 minutes (by car) of Hunnebostrand with a similar fun holiday vibe in the summer.

The first event is the rehearsal dinner on Friday. While the dinner is in Kungshamn, there will be an optional (but highly recommended) "Donalda" boat ride from Hunnebo to the restaurant through the scenic Sotekanalen (canal built by Emma's great-grandfather). Please arrive to Henrik Olssons Fiskaffär (Norra Strandgatan 7, 450 46 Hunnebostrand, Sweden) by 17.30 to board the boat!

For men: Button down shirts (no tie), jacket, with long pants and smart shoes. For women: Long or knee-length dress, dressy skirt with a nice top, or a jumpsuit. Please dress for the weather—it can get cold on the boat. Comfort is key!

For men: Dark suit + tie For women: Long dress (Feel free to bring some dancing shoes for the reception!!)

On Friday, dinner will be held inside the Tant Anton restaurant. The Donalda boat also has indoor space for the trip to the restaurant. On Saturday, the wedding ceremony will be held inside the Hunnebostrand church. The reception will be primarily outside under a tent, but with indoor space nearby.

There will be a short walk from the church, so we recommend bringing some comfortable shoes for walking and dancing.

There is a wide range of possible weather during the Swedish summer. Anywhere from 55 Fahrenheit / 13 celsius to 80 Fahrenheit / 25 celsius is possible, so we would recommend packing some warmer layers for the trip just in case!

Snapsvisor is a Swedish drinking songbook traditionally used during celebrations like weddings and festive dinners. It contains short, often humorous songs sung before taking a "snaps"—don’t worry if you don’t know the song, the most important part is to say “Skål!” at the end!

Gothenburg Landvetter shuttle will leave the airport at 12 noon on Friday the 18th to accommodate guests arriving on BA 790 from LHR and FR 964 from STN. There will be signs for the bus in the terminal upon arrival. The return shuttle will pick up guests from Hotel Kaprifol (Hunnebostrand), Smogens Hafvsbad and Hotell Kungshamn between 13:00 and 13:30 on Sunday the 20th to accommodate guests departing on BA 793 to LHR (18:30) and later flights. The drive is approximately 1 hour 45 minutes.

Oslo Gardermoen shuttle will leave the airport at 10:00 on Friday the 18th from Terminal 1 to accommodate guests arriving on SK 924 from JFK and SK 908 from EWR. There will be signs for the bus in the terminal upon arrival. The return shuttle will pick up guests from Hotel Kaprifol (Hunnebostrand), Smogens Hafvsbad and Hotell Kungshamn between 07:45 and 08:15 on Sunday the 20th to accommodate guests departing on SK 923 (13:10). The drive is approximately 2 hours 45 minutes.

Taxi options will be provided to the ceremony, with pre-reserved taxi options available throughout the evening / night for the ride home.

If you want more freedom to drive around on the weekend without relying on taxis, renting a car at the airport is an easy and affordable option. All major car rental companies are available in the arrival terminals.
